   WHO AM I

When I was in 6th grade, I had the opportunity to spend 3 weeks travelling around Europe with other kids my age. While I was there, I realized my love for travelling, and have been wandering to wherever God calls me ever since. It's been a pretty crazy ride so far, and I'm glad you're interested in joining me on the journey. As you may know, for the next year of my life I will be working with a program called Mission Year.  You can find out more about Mission Year below.

   MISSION YEAR

Mission Year's vision statement is "to see, inspire, and join in with a movement of people committed to loving God and loving people in neighborhoods across the country. [Their] purpose is to develop lifelong disciples, leaders, and advocates who will transform the church, the city, and the world. [Their] vision is to see the church unified, cultures reconciled, neighborhoods revitalized, and the world redeemed."

As part of my Mission Year experience, I will be living with other young adults in the program as we all work at different nonprofits around Houston. The program seeks to create intentional community while standing in solidarity with those who are fighting for justice.
